Delegate Statement
I've been fascinated with open source software for twenty years. Watching Ethereum grow over the years has been a pleasure, during which I have enjoyed experimenting with countless protocols, following core Ethereum development, funding public goods, and just hanging out in the community full of interesting people. But of course there is more to do. Ethereum's L2 renaissance promises to build on a strong foundation towards the next wave of usecases, adoption, and overall societal impact.
As a Scroll delegate, I hope to combine my technical skills from a career in software development with my obsession with philosophy and history in order to contribute towards the growth of Scroll and the broader Ethereum ecosystem.

Builders
Builders need up-to-date documentation, a community eager to try new things in order to garner feedback, and infrastructure which is building for long term sustainability.
Community
Community is not secondary to technology, but co-constitutive. Technology can be copied, community cannot.
Decentralization
Decentralization is a must to build robust systems. Decentralization comes in many forms such as underlying technology, but also community, and distribution of power.
Sustainability
A credible plan for sustainability is one of the differentiating benefits of web3 technology.
Privacy
Not all web3 applications need or benefit from privacy, but privacy should be seen as a right of users. As such, systems should strive to be composable with privacy-preserving infrastructure.
Governance
Governance is a necessary part of being a growing ecosystem. However, as systems mature, explicit governance can and should give way to more automated systems as appropriate.
Experimentation
Experimentation is the engine of innovation. Education is key to ensure this leads to new discoveries by a community of users empowered to take informed risks.
Security
Security is multi-faceted. It is built on a foundation of good documentation (contract addresses, permissions), audits, community curation, but above all user education.
