Delegate Statement

A brief intro:

I’m Gozman Gonzalez, a legal professional turned Web3 contributor, passionate about decentralized governance, regulatory clarity, and community empowerment. My journey into Web3 governance began during my tenure as a delegate at Push DAO, where I actively engaged in governance discussions, proposal evaluation, and represented the interests of diverse community members during a critical period of protocol evolution.

With a strong foundation in law and hands-on experience in DAO coordination, I bring a unique perspective to governance, one that bridges regulatory awareness with grassroots community values. My work spans across ecosystem growth, content strategy, and decentralized communication, with a keen eye on accountability, transparency, and long-term protocol health.

I’m especially drawn to Scroll’s mission of building a truly decentralized zkEVM and fostering a developer-first environment. I believe Scroll is not just building infrastructure, but shaping the future of Ethereum scalability with integrity.

A message to the community and ecosystem:

Scroll is building more than just scalable infrastructure — it’s shaping the future of decentralized coordination, rooted in Ethereum values.

As a former Push DAO delegate and an active contributor in the Web3 space, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of inclusive governance and transparent decision-making. I believe Scroll’s strength lies not just in its technology, but in the people driving it forward such as the developers, researchers, educators, and community members alike.

My mission as a delegate is to champion thoughtful, community-first governance, where participation is encouraged, and decisions are guided by long-term value, not short-term hype.

I’m committed to listening, representing diverse voices, and helping Scroll grow into an ecosystem that’s scalable, secure, and truly decentralized.

Let’s build Scroll together and with intention and integrity.

Top Issues

Builders
Builders
As a delegate, I believe improving the developer experience and ensuring sustainable incentives are critical for Scroll’s long-term success. Developer Experience: Great builders need great tools. From streamlined onboarding to robust documentation and seamless dev tooling, we must reduce friction and make Scroll the most developer-friendly L2. Sustainable Incentives: Short-term grants aren’t enough. Builders need predictable, long-term support that rewards real impact and encourages ongoing innovation and not just one-off launches. If we want Scroll to remain a magnet for top talent, we must invest in the people building the future, starting with a developer-first approach.
Community
Community
The strength of any decentralized ecosystem lies in its community, builders, contributors, and users working in alignment. For Scroll to scale sustainably, we must continue nurturing a welcoming, inclusive, and action-oriented community that empowers participation across all skill levels. Builder-friendly spaces: Create feedback loops between core developers and users to co-shape the roadmap. Contributor incentives: Recognize and reward not just code, but content, education, and cultural contributions. DAO accessibility: Simplify governance tools and workflows so new contributors can onboard and vote with confidence. Community isn’t just a buzzword, it’s Scroll’s most valuable layer. Let’s continue to build in public, listen with humility, and grow together
Security
Security
Security isn’t just a technical checkbox—it’s the backbone of user trust and long-term ecosystem resilience. As a delegate, I believe Scroll must lead with a security-first mindset, integrating rigorous auditing, real-time monitoring, and community-led vigilance at every layer. For Developers: Support secure-by-design development frameworks and provide tooling that flags vulnerabilities early. For Users: Transparency around security practices, bug bounty programs, and fast incident response are non-negotiable. For the DAO: Allocate resources toward ecosystem-wide audits and incentivize white-hat contributions. Scroll is building critical infrastructure for the next wave of onchain innovation. Let’s protect it accordingly.
