Griff & Zep Delegate Proposal

We are really happy to submit our delegate application for the Scroll DAO.

Scroll is very aligned with Ethereum long term vision. We find it compelling how Scroll keeps their zkEVM aligned with the EVM, letting developers deploy on Scroll without friction while contributing to Ethereum's push for better security and scalability.

I (Griff) will be working closely with Zeptimus. He has been active in Scroll and completed the delegate accelerator program. We will both stay close to the forums and votes.

Target Voting Participation

100 percent. We plan to vote on all proposals and will abstain only if there is a clear conflict of interest.

Governance Experience

Griff Green: I joined the Ethereum community in 2015 and earned a master’s degree in Digital Currency in 2016.

• Led the White Hat Group during The DAO hack, securing 10 percent of all ETH at the time.

• Led the rescue of 210 million dollars from the first Parity Multisig hack.

• I co-founded Giveth, DAppNode, Commons Stack, Token Engineering Commons, and General Magic, the team behind tools like Praise, Pairwise, qacc, and Unicorn.eth.

• Top delegate in ENS, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Gitcoin, and part of the Security Council for ENS and Arbitrum.

Zeptimus: Crypto builder and governance specialist since 2019.

• Active delegate in Arbitrum.

• Stalker in Gitcoin, ENS, and Optimism governance.

• Led Pairwise, a community voting tool.

• Deep interest in AI and how game theory can improve governance.

Top 3 Priorities for Scroll

1. A strong token means a strong ecosystem. Whether we like it or not, numbers go up is critical for funding our powerful infrastructure. When $SCR grows in utility and gains confidence in the market, everyone benefits. I'll push for governance that connects every major initiative, with clear metrics that drive sustainable demand for the token and keep people holding it over time. I believe public goods, developer funding, and community programs should be designed with supply and demand in mind. If we are going to use $SCR to fund initiatives, there has to be a clear theory of how that will create more demand for Scroll than it will cost.

2. I want to actively help build a governance layer where AI makes bottom-up human coordination better. I'll push for AI governance that stays open source, easy to audit, and fully under the control of the community.

3. I want Scroll to be able to evolve and adapt as the ecosystem grows and markets change. I believe in iterative approaches with clear plans in advance for how to double down hard if an initiative works, or end it fast if it’s failing. We should strive to keep bureaucracy and overhead low and approach practical, lean and focused initiatives that can create HUGE impact, and avoid death by a thousand cuts with lots of small initiatives that barely move the needle but create a lot of overhead.

We will recuse ourselves from votes involving organizations to which Zeptimus or I are part of.
