Delegate Statement

Hi, I am Mexi from Monterrey, Mexico.

I’m passionate about decentralization and community-building in the Web3 space. With over 20 years leading projects and 7 years of experience in the blockchain space, I’m deeply committed to fostering collaboration and innovation.

BandaWeb3 I recently launched @BandaWeb3, a development hub for Web3 technology in Monterrey. We've just opened new offices and an operations center for software development projects, hosting Web3 workshops, and events both in-person and online. I host 2 X Spaces per week where I talk to interesting persons in the Web3 space, you can visit our online and IRL event schedule.

I am a core contributor in Ethereum Mexico, a community of Web3 and blockchain enthusiasts in Mexico, dedicated to education, innovation, and the growth of the Ethereum ecosystem. The core team recently organized a 650+ person event in September 2024 in Merida, Yucatan where I was half of the 2 person team leading sponsors relations.

I am the founder of mxweb3 - crypto hub, a NGO in Monterrey, Mexico that empowers Monterrey's and LATAM's Web3 community through education and innovation since 2022. I used to co-host Proof of Value, a Web3 podcast in Spanish where we talked to people developing projects in Web3. You can find it on YouTube and Spotify. As a part of mxweb3, Ethereum Mexico and BandaWeb3 I’ve organized and attended numerous events, meetups, and hackathons to drive Web3 adoption in Latin America.

I would love to contribute hands-on to building robust security frameworks and enhancing the overall resilience of Scroll, so we can confidently scale a decentralized ecosystem without compromising safety.

Privacy ranks just behind security in terms of importance for me. I am passionate about enabling maximum privacy for all users within Scroll. While security ensures the integrity of the system, privacy ensures personal freedom and the protection of user data. I would love to contribute directly to enhancing privacy features in Scroll, ensuring that users can interact with the system confidently, knowing their data and activities are safeguarded while still maintaining scalability and usability in a multichain environment.

Research to inform a builder support strategy
